Does not work with moderated comments

  • It does not work when you have moderated comments enabled. When you accept the comment or reply to the comment the email is not sent. It is only sent when the moderated comments are not active or when an admin replies from the dashboard.

    Could you please fix it? don’t mind paying a beer or 2 or 3….

  • Agreed. does not work for moderated comments. But to be fair, I have tried 3 similar plugins now and none of them do this. I do not understand why this is so hard.

    Thanks for your feedback, guys. I’m just trying to clarify which is the problem:

    1. User makes a comment (which is put into moderation and not immediately published). Admin expects email here but doesn’t receive the email?

    or

    2. User makes a comment (which is put into moderation and not immediately published). Admin replies to this (still unpublished) comment but original commenter does not receive the email?

    or

    3. Another scenario that I didn’t understand?

    Hello.

    It is another problem. The web visitor comments, the comment goes to moderation and when you see that it is not spam or includes links you accept it. Then the email does not reach the recipient to let him know that his comment is approved. The same thing happens with replies to comments… If someone replies it goes to moderation. Once the comment is accepted it is not sent by mail.
