Does not work: WP 5.8.2

  • Hello,
    unfortunately this plugin (v 1.5.0) does not seem to work for my WP website running WP version 5.8.2.
    Is there anything I can do about it?

    What are you trying to achieve and what exactly isn’t working?

    It’s worth noting that this plugin does only one thing: preventing others from embedding your posts, and prevent you from embedding other WordPress posts.

    It does not disable YouTube embeds or similar.

    sorry, let me be more specific: My goal is to prevent the editor from embedding links from third party websites that support oEmbed.

    It’s worth noting that this plugin does only one thing: preventing others from embedding your posts, and prevent you from embedding other WordPress posts.

    Okay I understand, I thought your plugin prevents embedding from arbitrary websites.
    Can you maybe recommend any other plugin with that functionality? Or is there a way to disable editor link embeds in general?
