Does plugin count views of older posts?

  • I think this plugin could add interest to our site.

    But I’m wondering whether it will go back and pick up views on older posts. (Our blog has been operating since 2011, and we have a total of well over 7,000 posts, according to my dashboard.)

    Hi,

    It will count all post types that you select. But it cannot generate the views count out of nothing. However, if you used a counter (a plugin or custom code) before that stored the views in post meta, then it can be imported to PVC with a bit of coding and the Import views option.

    Thanks. The post views are viewable in CPanel and in Google Webmaster. So I thought the plugin might be able to pick up those stats too.
