Does Polylang not set language based on URL?

  • When sending someone a URL, should the language setting not persist to the next page when a form is submitted?

    example:
    /wp-login.php?action=register&lang=fr_CA

    The next page and email are both in EN, even though I’ve sent the correct language URL parameter. What am I missing here?
