Does S2Member integrate with Mailchimp?

  • I am unable to have the supposed integration of s2member with Mailchimp work. My API and list id are correct. I have tried all available options as far as s2 settings and no subscribers are being added to my mailchimp email list. In searching these forums it seems that many s2 users have the same problem and there is often different “hacks” suggested. s2 claims that integration is simple and straightforward. In fact s2 recommends mailchimp for this reason yet this seems to be an ongoing issue. Three questions: Does s2 integrate with mailchimp directly (no hacks or additional plugins? How? If s2 does not why should I upgrade to the pro version if s2 is dishonest about integration with mailchimp?

  • Are you giving it enough time to show up in MailChimp? When I was initially testing I thought it wasn’t working but after giving it 10-15 minutes, people started showing up in Mail Chimp.

    So to answer 3 questions…

    1- Yes
    2- Try above or maybe give some more detail about what is going on/what you tried.
    3- Worked for me, the hacks I only needed to do additional things with EOT dates and stuff like that

    One small detail to remember is that the user might need to confirm the MailChimp subscription before it appears. Did you go through that step too?
