Does Site Integrity uses the checksums from the latest master branch instead of the latest stable branch?
Many checksums mismatches detected but I inspected some of the inconsistent files and the appear to be the same as the with latest stable branch (but are changed in master).

Extra question: Is it possible to also check extra files such as those of phpmyadmin?

Have anyone else also noticed false positives when running the file integrity checker?

WP Cerber uses checksums provided by the WordPress repository. Possibly they are generated using code from the trunk folder and so if it doesn’t match the stable version, you get the errors.

Master, stable, and other similar “main versions/releases/branch” (whatever terminology) must be identical. If a developer needs to deploy the “development” version of a plugin, they have to tag such versions with “version tags” and put them into the “tags” folder in separate subfolders. Please read carefully: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-org/how-to-use-subversion/

Checking other software packages is not implemented yet.

I can’t find the value that I need to change to point to the stable branch isn’t it possible to automatically get wp version from wp-includes/version.php?

Sometimes those versions are being altered by another plugin. To avoid that, handling of WordPress locales and versions on websites with multilanguage plugins has been improved in WP Cerber 8.9.
