    Hey guys,
awesome plugin!! I only have one problem. The response header of the css/js file doesn′t contain the “content-encoding” tag. I checked the webserver configuration for gzip but there its all configured. Do you have any ideas? Or is this a problem with my webhost because the cached files are in a subfolder?
    Thanks!
    Jakob

    Hi,

I think it is server related.

The cause of this misbehavior is that Swift Performance cannot add specific rewrite rules automatically to enable GZIP for those merged files on NGINX as it would do on an Apache server.

In order to solve this issue, you will have to edit your NGINX configuration or ask your hosting provider to assist you. The correct rules you can view in Swift Dashboard->
