• Hi,
Please confirm that when using this GA4WP plugin, all we need to do is to enter the client’s GA4 ID#… no need to add the Header & Body codes correct? Because it uses the GA4 ID# to go and collect the header & body codes?

    My main question:
    – I’d like to know (on average) how much the plugin affects page speed?

    – How many trips does it take back and forth to GA4 (vs.) not using the plugin and add the codes manually into the Header & Body areas.
    – Is it an equal amount of trips?

Thanks in advance for answering. ??

  • Hi there,

currently, we have major issues with page speed. Troubleshooting is very difficult. It is not quite clear what exactly causes the delay. Loading time can increase to 40 seconds or more. Not all products are affected. It seems that major problems occur with variants. Developer tools show a pending process always in gtm4wp-woocommerce-enhanced.js in line 800.

To make things even more complicated: The problem only occurs after logging-in.

After deactivating the plugin everything returns to normal.
