Does the job

  • As far I used it, only on one website, it does perfectly the job. Maybe we could ask that it could handle in the future different images product according to the language because of texts we would like to show into these images (different versions of packaging for example).

    I would like to inform you that the feature you are talking about is already implemented in WPML suite.

    You can use WPML Media Plugin and set it to have different images per language :

    After that use native screen for translation(WCML > Settings > Native Screen).

    Then go to Products > Secondary Language and set the image you wish.
