Does the job well but could be more developer friendly

  • We’ve implemented this plugin for a client of us that is renting out boats. We’ve tried other plugins before but they always fell apart with either missing functionality that we needed or with sloppy support. Even though renting out objects (boats in our case) has its own requirements that are not 100% covered in the demos we took a small gamble to see how BookingPress would hold up. And: Not bad. We did have some back and forth with support but they were clear and correct, it almost all worked out for us.

    We did end up adding a feature request for missing functionality we would really like to see added. Especially to make it more developer friendly with documenting hooks (action/filters) that can be used to change/modify the existing functionality to a degree. We are a web development agency and would like more control over some parts of the plugin.

    In the end I would recommend the plugin.

    Hi Ronaldt,

    Thank you very much for your detained review. Our team is working really hard adding more and more features every month. So, hopefully if your feature needed by more people then we surely will add it in the future.

    Regarding making hooks documentation available, we are going to do it soon, right now we are moving so fast that lots of code being changed for the betterment of the plugin and its users.
