Does the month variable show the whole month or 3 letter abbreviation?

    Yes, I would prefer it to show the abbreviation. Is this possible?

    Hi @alzz , as promised I have released an update.

    You can now use [mon] shortcode to render Current Month’s abbreviation.

    Notice how mon has three letters like the first 3 letters of a month.

    Test it and let me know how it goes.

    Great! It appears to be working. If you ever want to upgrade it further you could do Spring/ Summer/ Fall/ Winter as well. Though, I am in no rush for this.
