Does the plug in do simple HTML tables?

WPBI supports simple HTML tables. You can set the size of the page and chose the style among 9 available. On the other hand sorting or column filtering is not supported.

The data tables javascript provides table layout with sorting and some other nice features for dealing with tabular data, would be nice if we can use WPBI to generate the data stream and use dt to display table.

probably the best solution is to include jQuery smart tables in WPBI. It shouldn’t be that hard. Otherwise the integration between two plugins would be a custom hack.

Yes, I see that datatables is a jQuery plugin (sorry I hadn’t got it earlier). I think that integration should be feasible. I’ll see if I can release it with version 1.1

Hi,
FYI I just released v 1.0.2 where I integrated the Datatables tables.
For now they’re present with default options (zero-config) and support filtering, sorting and paging.
If you want to extend them you can edit the table.tpl file in templates/views

Wow good work, I didn’t expect you to finish that so quickly.

I’ve been quite busy with other work but will definitely use this as soon as I can; it seems quite powerful what you’ve managed to do.
