Does the plugin work with bitly?

    Hello,

    The plugin is great, the only potential issue is that when a post slug is long, it will cause problems with Twitter sharing (and it’s just inconvenient). If I install the bitly plugin, so that an bitly link would automatically be generated for each post or page that’s created, is there a way to make the urls get replaced with bitly urls? I know it’s a long shot but I thought I’d ask anyway as other people might benefit from this.

    Hi!

    I did actually previous add this functionality, but it was created the bitly shortlink upon every page load. 1,000’s were being created every day and my bitly API limit was being reached pretty quickly!

    I want to try and get it to shorten only upon click, watch this space, I’ll try and get it done soon!
