• Great plugin! Maybe Automattic will add something like this into Core someday?

The only critique I have is that in some cases other plugins do not play nice. For example, installing a total read time, it may inject between the main title and subtitle. That was an issue with just one of my client’s sites, and we resolved by doing a different solution to calculate and display read time.

Thank you for creating this plugin.

Subtitles are great for title clarification and SEO when you think about it.

    Hi June,

Thanks so much for the feedback:

This is where the template tags come in. You can turn Subtitles off (the automatic output) and put your template tags wherever you want them. that way you’ll never have to deal with unwanted output in unwanted places if you plan on using additional plugins.

To the issue is things like read time, that’s something that would have to be handled by the other plugin, to recognize total content in a post and not only what’s stored in The Content.

Again thanks so much for your feedback.
