My apologies if this has been asked already but, does this plug in has a compatibility issue with Gutenberg? I started editing widgets using Gutenberg blocks and the check box(that’s usually there) for fixed widget is no longer there.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi harmonyous,

    Thanks for asking.

I am aware that the option might be missing when using widgets outside the Sidebar settings. I have postponed looking into a solution until I get the feeling that the Gutenberg version is ready for production.

    Best regards,

    Hi @harmonyous,

I just tested this with the latest version of the Gutenberg plugin. The Fixed Widget option was there for widgets in the block-editor that replaced the previous widget page.

There was indeed a bug concerning saving the option, which I identified and fixed. I indent to release that version in the next week.

Please let me know if I am still missing something, though.

    Hello Thomas,

This is indeed working but only on old widgets and jetpack widgets. There’s still no fixed widget option for gutenberg blocks. Below is a sample screenshot.

The widget above is a jetpack widget and it has a fixed widget check box. The facebook image on the other hand is something I put using the “image block” of gutenberg. As you can see, there’s no option for fixed widget. By the way, I also tried it on other gutenberg widgets.

Ah, now I got you and can confirm that it doesn’t work with non-widgets.

That’s a completely different issue then, but I will try to look into it for a future update.

Thanks for making me aware of it!

    Thomas
