Does this plugin accept Arabic characters ?

  • Hello, i’ve installed the plugin , enabled everything and seems to working fine , i saw images in the cache folder , the issue was that all characters was showing as ???????-?????

    we are using Arabic naming for the images , so does this plugin support Arabic ?

    Hello, my friend,

    Normally all filenames should be treated as UTF-8 by the OS and the filesystem in order for PHP, WordPress and our plugin to be able to understand them correctly. If the images you mention are being delivered correctly in the browser, then I wouldn’t worry much. The question marks you see are probably due to the fact that you (S)FTP client cannot read them properly. One thing you can do to verify this is to check if the filenames of your original files and see it they appear properly in your client.
