Does this plugin allow for this scenario?
-
Most of the items that my store has are lightweight and small. There are some that are large and/or heavy. I generally set the Woocommerce shipping method on all of my shipping methods to calculate “per order” to accommodate the many light items that my store carries. But now, if someone buys a multiple of one of my heavier items, I get totally hammered with shipping costs that the customer isn’t paying and I can actually lose money on the sale.
Therefore, I am seeking a plugin where I can assign per-item shipping to certain items in my store that will tack onto the per-order calculation of any other items in the customer’s cart. For example, if the customer chooses Item A, B, and C, all of which are lightweight items calculating at the normal per-order rate, but then chooses Item D, a bulky item that I have set to per-item calculation, the shipping would then be calculated in the cart/at checkout as (the highest shipping cost per-order calculation of Items A – C) + (Per-item calculation of however many of Item D that the customer chooses) = the total shipping cost of the order. Does this plugin or its pro version allow for this specific scenario to be achieved?
