    Hello,

Does this plugin supports WordPress.com websites?

One of my clients has a wordpress.com website (so not a self hosted website). I noticed on that website it can download plugins like All in one plugin and I can just export the whole website.

When I want to import this website on my localhost again and again it gets stuck at various places, like 84%, 94% and now 100%. All other websites that I import on localhost doesn’t seem to have any problem with importing.

So I was wondering if this plugin supports wordpress.com websites regardless?

Yes, the All-in-One WP Migration plugin does support WordPress.com websites. It’s well-tested on this platform, and generally, you should be able to export and import without issues.

However, the problems you’re encountering with imports getting stuck at various percentages on your localhost might be related to environment-specific issues such as PHP execution time limits, memory limits, or max upload sizes that are set lower on your localhost compared to a live server environment.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Increase PHP Limits: Check and increase the max_execution_time, memory_limit, and post_max_size in your PHP configuration to ensure they are sufficient to handle the import process.

    2. Check Error Logs: Look at the PHP and server error logs for any indications of what might be causing the import to hang. This can provide clues on whether it’s a timeout issue, a memory issue, or something else.
