Does this work for subscription product emails?

The subscription product emails is not an email type of WooCommerce originally. Are you using another plugin that generates that email type?

Then the email that the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin generates will appear in the Default Template of our plugin (if the 2 plugins are compatible). You can go to the WooCommerce settings > Emails tab > find the email type (generated by the subscription plugin) and check the corresponding template assigned. https://nimb.ws/dLKYW9

If you want to customize/edit the content of the email, please go to the plugin that generated it. In the Default Template, only the Header/Footer/some other elements can be edited.
