Does this work with admin searches for custom post types?

    I added a new setting and the meta_key I want to search on for a custom post type I created with a plugin. When I go to the admin section for the listing of the posts and do a search, it still does not search the meta data in the field I want it to search. How do I get this to work?

    Hi,

    This plugin does not affect the search results in admin area.
    It is only designed for front-end search. It is also mentioned on the plugin page https://wpes.secretsofgeeks.com/

    Thanks, I found a workaround to this by adding the custom field content to the post content.
