Does this work with bbPress?

I’m trying to create a members site where only paid subscribers can access the forums.

I tried creating a Forums page, then placed the bbPress shortcode on that page. Usually, bbPress just automatically creates that page/directoty, thus there was nothing to set protection visibility onto. So doing it the way I did (creating an actual page) allowed me to set the permission asking that they be a registered/paid subscriber.

However, it doesn’t seem to work. To test and make sure the plugin was working, I applied protection to a basic page like the About page, and it worked. But it doesn’t work on the bbPress Forums page.

Should it be working? Or is this something the Simple Membership plugin doesn’t support?
