Although it works fine, I get the following error message displayed at the top of every page and I don’t know what it means.
    Can you help?
    Ram, Leeds (and thanks xxx)

    Hi!
This messages came from “Yo-files”, not from m1.Downloadlist.
But there are only “Notice-messages” wich you can ignore by disabling WordPress-debug.

Thank you for the speedy reply. Amazing! It’s interesting because before your plug in, Yes I was using List-Yo Files plug in and it was working absolutely fine.

Then I installed m1.downloadlist and these errors started coming up. Then i deactivated List-Yo plug in and removed it but the errrors remained. Therefore I assumed it must be a bug in m1.downloadlist. So, I ended up doing a complete restoration from a back up. With only List-Yo files and no m1downloadlist – there are no error messages.

So I hope you can see why I am so confused. With List Yo it was working fine. Install M1downloads – error messages. Remove List-Yo errors remain. Remove M1downloads – errors remain. Resinstall from back up (which include List Yo) – no errors…..

Also, how do I set up ingore ‘notice-messages’ and will that affect the functionality of my website if i just ignore them rather than fix them? Will it not cause CPU overload on the host servers?

Again, thank you so much for replying so quick…

Please take a look at this: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Debugging_in_WordPress
You need to switch ‘WP_DEBUG’ to ‘false’ in your wp-config.php.

Okay, so I completely removed List Yo files.
    I then installed m1.downloadlist

Unfortunately following error remains. What does this error actually mean. Clearly it cant’t be related to LIst Yo files if I have now completely deleted it and installed m1.downloadlist freshly afterwards.

What does it all mean? Does anyone actually know? I love the look of this plug in, but if only it would stop giving that error message…

By the way, I removed HeartBeat from WordPress. Is m1.dowloadlist reliant on HeartBeat to function?

I think I have worked it out with the help of another technical person.
basically the error messages are just notifications and not serious.
and the clue of which plug in is in the error message.
    Thanks for your help maennchen
