Does This Work Without Dollar Amounts?

I am looking to set up an simple indicator that will only show the percent of the progress and not a dollar amount.

I have a retail business and each order costs x amount to make, and we make 3 per phase. If the customer knows how much the total cost collected is, they can divide by 3 and know my costs.
