Does what it is supposed to do

  • The plugin is very basic, and does its job perfectly.
    The only con is its inability to exclude html and shortcodes from the text fields. If you use WpBakery Page Builder for certain product descriptions, it will not look good on the Merchant Product description.

    For instance, I have a short- and long description field for my products. It’s only the long description which is built with WpBakery. For some reason this plugin decided to go along with the long description. If I could change which field to use, that would also be a solution.

    Thanks for taking the time to leave an honest review. Rest assured that we’ll look into the issue with WP bakery shortcodes being synced to Google Merchant Center.

    In the meantime, as you mentioned using short descriptions would be a good solution and the extension supports this. You can use this code snippet to specify that the short description should be synced to Google Merchant Center. We recommend adding code snippets via a child theme or using a plugin such as Code Snippets.
