Does what it says. No control

  • Plugin does what it says. The devil is in the fine print, I guess. It doesn’t just post new posts or posts you edit either. You have no control on what it reposts (unless you upgrade?), from the sound of it. Old posts, irrelevant posts, posts you had forgotten you ever wrote…. can all be reposted for reasons inexplicable – probably because you say… added a plugin that tags all your posts or did some bulk edit moving them to a less viewed category…

    Or you have to stalk your own buffer to keep an eye on inappropriate shares. Or go and delete from social networks after they publish.

    Definitely get if all you have on your blog is evergreen content. Avoid like the plague if you cover current issues, etc.

    We have advised everyone on the worpress.org page https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/buffer-my-post/ of this plugin that we actually recommend using the Social Web Suite instead of this (this plugin is in the maintenance mode). Social Web Suite is both a plugin and social media dashboard, it is more sophisticated than Buffer and plans start at $9.
