• I’ve used a number of optimization plugins, from Super Cache to WP Rocket. They’re all great, but take a lot of configuration to get juuuuust right on some trickier sites. BerqWP just seems to… do the thing.. It’s refreshing to have it be so simple.

I’m curious as to how it will perform on an eCommerce / eLearning / Membership type site; but for a standard informational site w/o logging in etc, it’s been absolutely flawless on the sites I’ve tested with.

Don’t get me wrong; I don’t believe chasing Google PageSpeed is the end all be all; I know that a website should be usable first, and Google’s definition of “fast” maybe fourth or fifth on the scale of importance. That said, BerqWP makes it bloody easy to get those green scores on mobile and desktop. With no apparent downsides, why not go for it?
