    Hello,

I am not a programmer nor do I work on my site in code so any reply in simple terms would be very appreciated thank you.

I have been using the Woocommerce plugin that I think is a very great plugin. I wanted to know if it was at all possible to manage my stock directly from the attributes I have set up.

The issue that I am having is in relation to my products. To explain it best, I sell gift hampers and some hampers have a variable product; for example a chocolate bar and the customer can choose from 4 different flavours which I have saved in the attributes. I then have a second product that is a hamper and it also has an option for which chocolate flavour to choose, but if the stock is managed from product level the stock count doesn’t identify that I have already sold one chocolate bar flavour in another product as each product has it’s own stock level count, where I require the stock manager to identify which attribute has been sold and apply it to all of the products that are using that attribute within their variations (I really hope that made sense).

I currently have installed the ATUM plugin but I don’t think it can perform the task I need. I had also tried Woocommerce Stock Manager plugin.

Is there another plugin I could install with this feature? or would I need to change the way I have set up my products and variations to achieve this?

I welcome and appreciate any assistance and advice.

    Many Thanks

Do you mean that all your variable products share the same chocolate bar product? Not very clear on the setup, but if you only have one variable product you can manage its stock on variation or on main product level.

If you have multiple variable product that share the same flavours of chocolate, to manage stock better you can use Bundled products. Set the flavor and hampers as a separate products and add it to all bundles you sell. This way when you sell chocolate flavour, you deduct one global product.

Sorry, if I misunderstood the requirements.

Thank you for your reply @vankaa,

I appreciate you taking the time, I tried to explain it but I do apologise for any confusion caused. In response to your reply; I do actually have some products with more than one variation so the flavour of chocolate would be one and the fragrance of the candle would be another variation in that product for example.

I haven’t tried to bundle products so I will take the time to look into this option and how it works, and hopefully it will be what I was after.

    Many thanks again.

    Thanks @vankaa!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
