Does Wordfence create a user beginning with wp_update?

    Hi @rvh, thanks for your question.

    No, Wordfence doesn’t create any users on your behalf, or for its own actions, and only adds Login Security features on top of the users you can create/edit in WordPress itself.

    Does that username doesn’t appear on your WordPress > Users > All Users page? Which audit log/event plugin or scan result is that?

    Yes, it appears on the All Users page and I quickly delete it but it’s back the next day. I can’t figure out what is adding it. I’ve changed passwords on the database. BTW, That scan is from WP Activity Log plugin. Isn’t it strange that something is creating Wordfence activities?
