Does Wordfence create tasks on my site?

    Hi @rvh,

    Those are indeed normal WP Crons that Wordfence schedules and runs. wordfence_processAttackData?could run repeatedly if the site is under heavy attack and wordfence_batchReportFailedAttempts is part of the Wordfence > All Options > Participate in the Real-Time Wordfence Security Network option, when potential brute-force attacks are occurring. It can also occur if a legitimate user fails to log in.

    Thanks, that’s a load off my mind. What scared me is the IP addresses, several of which are in China. Why so many?
