    Does Wordfence encrypt data at rest?

    If so, are there any resources about this?

    If not, do you know of any services or plugins that can do this?

    Hi @colfetski, thanks for your question.

    Wordfence doesn’t offer a feature to add encryption at rest to your WordPress data, but according to this thread, MariaDB does support it and should make the data transparently available to anything using it.

    I can’t recommend other services or plugins for this as any choices over third-party installations or making database changes are down to the site administrator’s preference.
