• I have a client who has a html site.

I’m planning on redesigning and migrating to WordPress.

His techie said WordPress is just a blogging system and doesn’t support sub directories?

    I’ve never set up a sub directory…

Is he right… my spider senses is telling me… no.

Would love some feedback, clarification here… as lay man as possible

    I’m a point and click guy ??

  • WordPress is a pretty full blown Content Management System, not just a blogging system, though that’s how it got its start.

Not sure what you mean by “support sub directories”. You can create multiple WordPress sites in different subdirectories. You can also use something called Permalinks to make it look like you have subdirectories for each of your top level web pages. And subsubdirectories for children of those top level pages.
