Does wordpress use timestamp or datetime?

  • Hi,

    I want to have the post date be the actual day of an event. However, in trying to use years like 1933, the post defaults to today’s date. I believe this is because wordpress is using timestamp (ie does not recognize before 1970).

    Is there a way to use datetime instead?
