Hi everyone, I am having a bit of an updating css problem. I make changes to the css, upload and overwrite the existing, but when I try to see the changes my browsers (3 different browsers) are still reading the old copy. I have tried clearing the caches of the browsers etc but it doesn’t work. I don’t know if any of you remember but years ago we used to be able to do it via cPanel. There was a folder named cache and all we had to do was go in there and delete the files. Now I can’t find any such folder. This time I have had to uninstall and reinstall 3 times just to see the changes. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am about to try again today, hopefully I will discover a solution; but until then I am asking for a bit of advice.

WordPress doesn’t cache on its own, but there are several caching plugins, hosting providers with built-in caching, and caching reverse-proxies like Cloudflare.

If you aren’t using any caching plugins or anything like Cloudflare, I recommend contacting your hosting provider’s support.

Thanks James, I wondered about that but thought I would check with WP first because I knew it would be faster ??
