Does YARPP support Trad Chinese?

  • Part of YARPP (its keyword detection in titles and content) is less effective with text that doesn’t use spaces between words, like Chinese and Japanese. However, the tag and category parts (or any other taxonomies you might have) should be perfectly effective.

    In your YARPP settings, go to “Relatedness” (which you can turn on through the “screen options”) and try weighing the tags or categories more highly, or turning off title and body keywords. That way YARPP can rely more on that metadata. Should work.
