Great plugin, but limited to 1mb file size

  • This does a great job of optimizing images, so long as they are smaller than 1mb. It says that, but kind of buried in the list of features, so I didn’t see it. I wish that was a little more clearly stated because I couldn’t figure out why it was not working on some of my images until support explained.

    Once you know that, it’s still very good otherwise.

    Yes, there is a limit to 1MB images in the free version. I’ll let Smush team about your feedback about making this information more visible on our plugin page.

    @robotboy44 We’ve upgraded and the free version now compresses images up to 5MB. I hope you’ll give it another try. Cheers!
