    Hi,

I’m experiencing a bug where the product isn’t added to the wishlist when clicking the “Add to wishlist” button. This issue occurs in Safari and Edge, and possibly in other browsers I haven’t tested yet. It only works correctly in Chrome.

I have tried disabling all plugins one by one and switched to some of the standard WordPress themes. I also installed a clean copy on a different web host and domain, and there it works fine. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Could it be related to Ajax?

    Hi @pawloui ,

It could possibly be the AJAX. You can try installing this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wpc-ajax-add-to-cart/ to assist the AJAX loading on your site. Just install and you can check the functionality right after that. No special settings required.

    Best regards.

    Hi @janilyn409 ,

Thank you! I hadn’t thought about that, great idea. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. ??

Maybe I should try asking our web host to see if there’s some caching or something on the server that’s causing the problem.

    Best regards.

    Hi again.

Oh, how embarrassing. I realized that it’s because I am logged into the site in Chrome, but not in Safari and Edge. That actually makes a lot of sense. But is it possible to add products to the wishlist as a guest without being logged in, perhaps using cookies? It seems to work fine in the demo. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

    Hi @pawloui ,

In that case, you can go to WPClever >> Smart Wishlist and choose No for this option:https://prnt.sc/jV1t0PQ2n1Wp

This will disable the feature of requiring buyers to log in before they can use the wishlist feature.

Please make sure to clear caches after saving the changes.

    Best regards.

Oh, I didn’t see that. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
