Doesn’t Appear to Unlock Any “Lifetime” Options

    Hi. I have the latest version of Woo, Woo Subs, and your plugin.

    I’m setting up a ‘Simple Subscription’ just as a test and I’m seeing no options within the product to set it as a “lifetime” subscription. The dropdown (Day, Week, Month, and Year) is still the default options.

    Hi. I’m not seeing that. When setting up a ‘Simple Subscription’ product, I only see Download and Virtual options.

    Hello @wpturnedup,

    It is not available for simple subscriptions because it is not necessary. Instead of a simple lifetime subscription, you can create a simple product.

    We’ve included the lifetime subscription option in the variable subscriptions to allow plan switching, which is not currently supported natively by the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin.

    Hi. Simple Subscriptions are absoutely a use case. We’ve used them for years, as part of Woo’s Grouped Product, for allowing switching of plans.

    Only being able to used Variable Subscriptions is limiting, as that type cannot be used in some cases.

    Anyway, I don’t want to complain about a FREE plugin here. If you charged for this, allowing more than just Var Subs, I’d buy it. ; )

    Hello this plugin doesn’t provide subscriptions functionality, it includes the lifetime option inside the official woocommerce subscription plugin

    Hi. Nowhere did I request for your plugin to be a subscription plugin. That wouldn’t make sense.

    You can close this ticket, as we’re going backwards here.
