• I wished this plugin was reliable. We use WooCommerce and Mailchimp.

When I go to create an email in Mailchimp and segment by customer information I can be certain that the information isn’t up to date.

The customer data doesn’t appear to auto sync.

Also, at this time it doesn’t appear that Mailchimp is actively making this plugin better as there have been no recent updates.

  • Hey there @mattmikulla,

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing some issues with the plugin. We are always accepting feedback for how to make the plugin better, and the best place to keep an eye out for updates as they are released is going to be the plugin changelog found here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/changelog/

If you’re still seeing issues, would you mind writing back to let us know a few more details about what you’re seeing? Specifically we’ll need:

    – The version of the MailChimp For WooCommerce plugin
    – The version of PHP running on the site
    – A list of all active plugins running on the site
    – The name of the theme being used on the site

Thanks in advance for these details! Let us know if there’s anything we can do to help out further.

I don’t want to publish our site’s technology publicly.

Where can I contact you privately?

    Hey @mattmikulla,

Definitely understand that concern for security. You can write in to MailChimp’s Support team by accessing their contact page at https://mailchimp.com/contact/support/ . I also found a link in the MailChimp Knowledge Base that discusses options for live chat support here: https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options

If you need anything else, don’t hesitate to let us know.

How often should the plugin sync order information?

    Hey @mattmikulla,

Information from the store should sync back to the MailChimp list as soon as a new purchase/customer is available. That action makes a request over to the MailChimp servers to associate the new store information with a list. If you’re seeing something other than that it would be best to reach out directly to MailChimp support for some further help looking in on what’s being passed over to the app through the API.

    Cheers,
    Jasper
