Doesn’t do anything useful

  • The new editor sucks… There’s no other way to put it.
    It doesn’t help me do anything useful. Sure, you can reorder your paragraphs faster, but that’s about my least concern why I write a post.

    Maybe there’s still hope. The idea of a block editor itself isn’t bad. What sucks is the implementation. For starters, I’d like to see a grid system for blocks.

    Install CoBlocks or my personal favorite, GhostKit.

    Wait… I’ve read a response by you in one of the posts that the catch of blocks editor is to not need any additional visual editor plugins. Like this IS the advantage of Gutenberg. And then to actually get good use of the blocks we need to install plugins. Isn’t that ironic?
