• This only works on links you can apply a class too. In my case I’m looking to open from a link that’s generated by a shortcode. I was hoping I would have a url to point my links to instead of class to apply to links.
Now that I think of it, this means this can only be used with plain text links or by developers who are willing to develop…

This plugin is also “sellware” meaning you only get part of the plugin for free and have to give them money to unlock the rest of the plugin. Not a big fan of that and wish they would go back to the day when this kinda crap wasn’t allowed in the repository.

@texxs – Sorry you had trouble. Most users don’t have to much trouble with adding the classes we have found.

The plugin is full featured on it’s own merit. In fact the extra functionality are simply additional features that not all users want or need. We have never nor will ever remove functionality for the sake of profit.

In fact this plugin was entirely rewritten and rebranded as Popup Maker which includes hundreds of features and improvements. But both plugins are what most users would consider premium in terms of their functionality from the core alone. The time it takes to develop such things can’t go unrewarded. Otherwise the 1000+ hours put into each would never get done to begin with. What would you propose, that we don’t make money to support our selves so that you can package this functionality with your client sites without cost to yourself and we go broke for that need? That is a bad business model and would result in no plugins that are worth using.

We pride ourselves on the fact that our free work is more than enough for 90% of our users without a purchase necessary, if you need more power you should expect to pay for it, or do what other developers do and create the solution yourself. But in the case you wan’t something that you can set up quickly then paid extensions provide just that.

Again thank you for the feedback and sorry the plugin didn’t meet your needs. I would suggest based on your original needs that you check out another plugin of mine (Popup Maker a drop in replacement for EM that is 100x more polished) but the functionality you need would be provided in 2 clicks via one of our paid extensions which you likely don’t wanna hear.

Hope this addresses all of your concerns and I look forward to any further feedback you may have.
