• Without any error messages or other alerts it simply does not move buyers as non-subscribers into our MC account; it doesn’t display an opt-in at checkout; it doesn’t tell us if anything isn’t working with the connection… yet it clearly isn’t; and it’s permanently asking us to complete the integration as per the “Marketing” tab, yet the main Mailchimp dashboard says “You’re on your way!”… whatever that means. Fun. NOT!

    Hi @nadworks

Sorry the plugin does not meet your expectations. Have you checked to see if you are set up properly from the dashboard within the plugin?

I completely understand how frustrating this must be—having no clear error messages while things aren’t syncing properly makes troubleshooting much harder. Let’s work together to get this sorted out.

Here are a few key things to check:

    1. Opt-in at Checkout – If the opt-in isn’t appearing, ensure it’s enabled under WooCommerce > Mailchimp > Checkout Settings. Also, some themes override checkout fields, so testing with a default theme (like Storefront) could help.
    2. Buyers Not Syncing as Non-Subscribers – If you’re expecting all buyers to sync as non-subscribed contacts, verify:
      • Under WooCommerce > Mailchimp, “Sync new non-subscribed contacts” is enabled.
      • If using double opt-in, some customers may not confirm their email, preventing them from syncing.
    3. Connection Issues – The persistent request to “complete integration” suggests the setup might not be finalizing correctly. Try:
      • Reconnecting Mailchimp under WooCommerce > Mailchimp > Disconnect & Reconnect.
      • Checking WooCommerce > Status > Logs for Mailchimp-related errors.
      • Running a manual sync from WooCommerce > Mailchimp > Sync and watching for changes.
    4. Mailchimp Dashboard Messages – “You’re on your way!” typically appears when the integration is partially set up but may still require additional steps. Checking the Connected Sites section in Mailchimp can confirm whether WooCommerce is properly linked.
    5. Check your Fatal Error Logs – This may give you some indication of what is going on.

If none of the above resolve the issue, we can dig deeper with some additional debugging steps. Let me know what you find, and we’ll take it from there!

Looking forward to getting this working smoothly for you.
