Doesn't Fully Work with WP 3.8

    Upgrading WordPress to 3.8 slightly breaks this plugin (thanks for such a great plugin btw!)

    I’ve disabled the plugin on the live site for now so I can’t show you there.

    Basically I have a WP page which, using a shortcode, displays a list of posts of a custom post type. TOC+ now, after updating WP to 3.8, thinks that the titles of these post types are headings of the page, and thus inserts a TOC listing all the custom post type post titles…

    Also it now thinks that the “Share this” from Jetpack is a title and displays it in the TOC…

  • Did you use a shortcode from elsewhere to create the list of posts from a custom post type? Try adding [no_toc] to anywhere on that page.

    In regards to “Share this”, that has always happened to me so just add “Share this*” to the excluded headings in the advanced options at Settings > TOC+.

    Yes was using shortcodes and [no_toc] fixed it – as did adding the exception, thank you!

    Again, thanks for a great plugin.
