I get the error message of

Warning: max(): Array must contain at least one element in C:\xampp\htdocs\test\wp-content\plugins\gravity-forms-mass-import\gravity-forms-mass-import.php on line 115

    &

    You have some invalid headers:
    Company
    DNSSEC

I’m sorry to ask the same question as so many other’s here in the support area, but there just doesn’t seem to be a very clear cut way of troubleshooting. I’ve looked everywhere for an example csv which would work, but no luck.

    I’m using gravity forms 1.7.10.

My example csv file can be found at https://getmysite.org/wp-content/uploads/registrars.csv

I would very much like to make use of this plugin and will donate if it can actually work.

Hey, sorry it took so long to get back to you (got lost in my emails). The url you gave me for the csv file is not active. Please provide again or email it to me. aryanduntleyATgmail

Off the bat I see the issues with your csv file. You need to have them double quote encased. That means before

“each”, “entry”, “there”, “must be”, “a double quote”, “and, after, each”, “entry”, “as well”

    Try this:

    CSV

I used explicitly the csv file you provided, but unfortunately I’m still getting

You have some invalid headers: Company

and that’s with the first entry of the file you gave me with the doublequotes on everything:

    “Company”,”Country”,”Website”,”IDN”,”DNSSEC”

Send me a screenshot or text (copy paste) of the Labels that are generated when you first choose the form you wish to import into. NOT the error report, the list of Labels, Id’s, etc… that the plugin provides to help you create your CSV file.

I’m pretty sure this is what you’re looking for:

    ID LABEL TYPE Syntax
1 Company text example: Some Entry
2 Country select example: Some Entry
3 Website website example: Some Entry
4 IDN radio example: Some Entry
5 DNSSEC radio example: Some Entry Recorded Values: Yes, No,

Ok, I’m going to have to test. Haven’t been updating with newer versions of WP ’cause no $ coming in and I have priorities elsewhere, so could be compatibility issues with newer WP’s or newer Gravity Forms. I’ll test to see what is going on. Could be a day or two b4 I get back to you.

Just tested. Works fine. No issues whatsoever. Used the exact same file I sent you. Imported 103 entries.

Check all of your field names in the form. Make sure there are no spaces before or after the title. I’ve had people with this same issue (it’s always a csv structure issue) who had spaces before some of their titles. Go through and rename all of your fields by copying and pasting the titles from the csv into the form elements. Then try again. I just did it with the latest version of WP and the latest version of GF. If problems persist, I will ask you to export your form to me (not entries, just the form itself). Then I will import it into my system and test against that. If it continues, the you may have to provide me access to your site to troubleshoot. Let me know how the testing goes.

Well that did it for my testing. Even though there didn’t seem to be any difference (or spaces) in the form labels, I cut and pasted them in again from the csv, and that seems to have done the trick, though I don’t know why.

Thank you for all your assistance.

Sure thing. Glad it worked out.
