i use custom fields to store, say, the ‘address’ of the business page

i then call that custom field to display when the page is accessed.
but it appears that the value in the custom field address is not being indexed by better search.

is there something i can do with this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

There isn’t an automatic way to add the custom fields to be searched as this can differ from one site to the next.

Here is an example of searching the author field for the search term. You’ll need to modify this code to customise it to the “address” meta field in your example.

hello and thank you for your response.

been very satisfied using this plugin for many months now but recently opted to go for google custom search engine when the conversion to use custom fields was finally implemented in my site.

    you deserve a 5 star.
