doesn’t install with last version of ACF

    Hi,

    I just tried to install the free version but it refuses to install in combination with the last version of ACF because it expects exactly the version 5.
    Error message is:

    “Couldn’t find ACF 5 PRO. Advanced Forms requires ACF 5 PRO to function correctly.”


    Can you please fix it? thanks!

    Hi @saschia

    Whilst the notice you are seeing mentions ACF 5, the plugin is actually looking for the pro version of ACF. It specifically checks for the existence of the acf_pro class. Are you using the Pro or the free version of ACF? If using the free version, you’ll need to upgrade to pro in order to use Advanced Forms or Advanced Forms Pro.

    In that case I understand because I use the free version.
    Maybe good to change not only the notice but also the name of the plugin because it mentions “for ACF” and not “for ACF pro”.
