Doesn’t load google fonts

Apologies, just double checking, did you uncheck the box and then scroll down to the bottom of the tab and then click the “save” button or did you simply uncheck the option to save the option. If you have pressed the “save button” can you export your settings in the “Settings” section?

Of course, I did uncheck and save. Even more, I double checked it and check (and saved) and uncheck (and saved) once again, when founded this problem. As well I checked and unchecked a few times the minifying at all and minifiying css separately. The effect is strong and depends of if minifies os on or css minifiys (goggle fonts don’t load. Of course that I purged cache and minified cache every time when I changed something

Great, the most likely offender is the merging of CSS so you can try switching the minification back on and checking if the issues persists.

You may find that the minification works ok and it’s just the merging thats causing the funky fonts.

I switched on css minification and switched off css merging, purged all caches and see that google fonts don’t load again.

Now I did even a bit more: I switched on minification and css minification on the general minificatoin tab but switched off all switchers on the css tab. So, how I guess, it should not do anything at all. But it does: google fonts doesn’t load.

I am afraid that you may have to leave the minification and the merging of the CSS deactivated.

Are you going to fix it and when?

Under Minfiy >> CSS >> Exclude the following CSS files from processing, can you add wp-content/plugins/popup-builder/public/css/theme.css

All mininfication and merging does is take out the excess spaces in in code so that it takes up less space. Unfortunately, this can sometimes cause issues with your CSS and JS. This is not something we can fix within the plugin as it is directly related to your plugin and themes and we cannot change this code. All we can do is try and isolate the file and exclude it from processing.

I will work through all possible workarounds with the plugin with you but sometimes your plugins and themes are unsuitable for this type of optimization.

I excluded this CSS files from processing ( wp-content/plugins/popup-builder/public/css/theme.css ) but it hasn’t impede on loading google fonts. They continue to don’t load.

I just remind the problem: once I checked “don’t load google font”, saved, than unchecked it and saved and since that google font’s doesn’t load any more if css minification is on.
