• Installed it on 2 websites to prevent registration spam on one (didn’t work) and form spam on the other (seems to be working, not sure yet). Many spam registrations for an online WooCommerce shop were coming in all day long, I expected this plugin to block them but it doesn’t.

    Still, it seems to somehow block the form spam so far on the other website. Will have to wait and see.

    Hi @rudybrinkman,
    If you read the description of this plugin there is clearly stated that it blocks fake user registration for Standard WordPress Register form.
    For WooCommerce there is an Extension. Do not expect WPBruiser to block fake WooCommerce registrations without that extension.

    I think i haven’t made myself clear. It’s a WordPress site running WooCommerce, but the fake user registrations are wordpress users, not WooCommerce clients signing up. It’s simply fake new WordPress user registration.

    The signup is a user name + url in it, like

    Gebruikersnaam: meet Ruby and Ruby {url to website}

    the site gets over a dozen a day of registrations like this.

    Hi @rudybrinkman,
    I was not expecting you to run WooCommerce on other platform rather than WordPress. At the end WooCommerce users are WordPress users.

    Send me your site url through https://www.wpbruiser.com/contact/ and let me have a look.

    I decided to install reCaptcha and now all spam is gone.
