I’ve just pushed a change to the master branch which I’m hoping will fix the taxonomy problems. If anyone gets a chance to try this version out on one of the blog pairs which was previously failing, I’d very much appreciate it. Disclaimer: please only test this if you know at least something about what you’re doing!

When swapping to this version DO NOT uninstall the plugin as this will delete the syndication configuration, just replace the directory in your plugins directory. If it works then that’s great. If not and you need to swap back (to 0.7 which is the release before the API change which doesn’t suffer from the taxonomy problems) then just drop the plugin files back over the top of the new ones and it should all work again!

Did not for me. Never got the remote blog to show a post.

The remote blog added and auth ok but not showing anything in remote API field:

First off: Thank you for this plug in.

I had the same problem as the others here (WP 3.5.2 and tried Syndicate Out v0.8.0 and 0.8.1). I switched to 0.7 and it worked just dandy.

I’ve tried it on two of my sites, and want to put it on the rest of them (I have too many) so I can have one main site as a central syndication place. It’s interesting to note that it may not work with custom taxonomies as I haven’t tried it with anything but posts, but would it make sense if just *having* custom taxonomies may mess it up? I make use of WooThemes’ Canvas which does add several additional ones.

I figure a list of what I’m using may help with troubleshooting but one of them has too much to list.. The other, however, is pretty bare:
(all versions current except Syndicate Out)
WooThemes’ Canvas theme
Limit Login Attempts
Syndicate Out (0.7)
WooDojo

If I may be so bold as to put a feature request out there, too; it would be awesome if there was the option to have the site the post is from preface the post title. I don’t know if anyone else would make use of it, but I certainly would! ??

Hello has anyone figured out why the Authentication says okay but the Remote API says nothing. I am unable to get this working. I have version 0.8 with WP 3.6.1.

I am using 3.7.1 on the primary blog and setup appeared to function correctly but my wp.com blog never receives the post. Has anyone figured out if it’s a bug with .8? Should I load .7 and see if that works? If so where do I get the old version?

I *think* I’ve solved this problem… finally! It seems it was all to do with taxonomies and post statuses.

I’ve pushed an update to the plugin – 0.8.2.1 – which I hope will address the problem. Give it a whirl and let me know how you get on.
