Doesnt seem to work when not logged in

ok, dont have a solution yet, but it looks like if you arent logged in the the $_SESSION are not passed..

Ok, so this seems to be an issue with our Host’s (WPengine) server setup, mainly the heavy caching. So when logged out the $_SESSION variables just return empty. The solution is to ask WPengine to uncache the page you are using the plugin on (and possibly uncaching the plugin directory as well). We ended up using the plugin on the frontpage, which we obviously didn’t want to uncache. So I setup a separate page with its own minimal template copying the necessary code from the frontpage, and asked WPengine to uncache that page, now I can pull in the results of the plugin via ajax!
