Doesn’t seem to work with 5.3 – Any plans to update?

There are no “settings” showing on the export page.

There are no settings for exporting, there are only settings for importing. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding you? If you mean you’re not seeing the plugin’s entry at all on the export page, the choice should read “Options”, not “Settings”. If you are not seeing “Options” on the export page, it’s possible that another plugin is conflicting. If that’s the case, I would love to know what plugins and theme you have active.

Sorely in need of an update, any plans

Everything continues to work as advertised on the latest version of WordPress, 5.0.3, and there are no outstanding bug reports. I would therefore contend that it is not “sorely in need of an update”. I may update it in the near future to add a side-by-side comparison view as was pitched in another support thread, but that would be a new feature.

Ok, fair enough, thanks for detailed reply.

Your FAQ reads “settings” so wasn’t looking for “options”:

“Navigate to Tools → Export and choose “Settings” to export options,
or navigate to Tools → Import and choose “Settings” to import options.”

I DO have options, so will report back after trying.

Forbidden
Access to this resource on the server is denied!

And that was a .htaccess misconfig, have file and will test on new install and report back.
